He described the Federal High Court ruling as simply the job of political detractors, trying to buy time for their benefactors in an attempt to distract the “Rescue and Rebuild” Abia mandate of High Chief Ikechi Emenike.

Comr Emmanuel noted that the said judgment cannot be enforced or executed until the final pronouncement by the Supreme Court on the subject matter.

Also, he stated that the Law is trite,as the judgment of the appellate court binds the courts and parties. The Court of Appeal in two separate judgment in Abuja and Owerri affirmed the 24th of June 2022 judgment of Justice Anya Benson at the Abia State High Court, in Suit No HUM/31/2022:IKECHI EMENIKE VS APC in favor of Ikechi Emenike.

“The Federal High Court is not superior to the Appeal court, the Appeal and Supreme Courts have also ruled that INEC and the court cannot determine who is the candidate of a political party where and when there are two competing primaries”,he said.

The Youth leader further used the opportunity to call on APC party chieftains and faithful to join other teeming Abians in crying for good governance and deliver the state for the party.

“Together we stand, divided we fall. This is not a time to present yourself to be used as an element of distraction to plunder the good will of the people”.

He also applauded the judiciary for upholding Justice, stating that the judiciary should fish out those who use the interpretation of the law to further the ill desires of some undesirable elements, adding that anyone caught should be decisively dealt with.
