The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections, Engr Ogbonna Abarikwu has wished the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal constituency, a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance.
In his Christmas message, the APGA candidate who expressed joy over the yuletide season, stated that the celebration affords Christians the opportunity to celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
According to him, the season is a time to show love to one another and as well, propagate the gospel of Christ, which is the essence of our life here on earth.He stressed that Christians should reflect on the birth of Christ and its significance to mankind.
He called for a peaceful celebration, urging road users to maintain a high level of consciousness on the road, avoid over speeding,as well as, driving and drinking.
While wishing the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia a crisis free celebration, added that Christmas is not a time of engaging in frivolous activities or fetish displays, but a time to show appreciation to the Almighty God for the gift of His son to mankind.
However, the APGA candidate prayed God to grant every member of his constituents protection and provisions all through the festive period.
