Onuigbo Rallies Support for President Tinubu, Launches Abia Central Renewed Hope Partners

As part of efforts to galvanize the South East region for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress
(APC), yesterday, launched the Abia Central Renewed Hope Partners.
The Renewed Hope Partners which is a platform geared towards bolstering the reelection of the nation’s President, was initiated by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu.
Addressing a crowd of party faithful at his Umuahia residence, the member representing South East in the Board of the North East Development Commission (NEDC), Rep Sam Onuigbo, expressed delight in the growing popularity and inclusive appeal of the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly in Abia State. He celebrated the high-calibre politicians joining the party and lauded President Tinubu’s progressive leadership as a beacon of experience and vision for Nigeria.

Rep Sam Onuigbo disclosed that the popular acclaim and acceptance of the APC is a measure of public endorsement of the great progressive governance of the President, adding that the humongous achievements recorded by President Tinubu-led APC administration through the Renewed Hope Agenda, clearly show that experience counts.

According to him, “President Tinubu is indeed, the leader Nigeria deserves at this present time”.

Onuigbo commended the Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon Benjamin Kalu, for his foresight in establishing the Renewed Hope Partners, emphasizing that the initiative not only strengthens grassroots participation but also cements APC’s presence in the Southeast.
He disclosed that the visionary leadership of the nation’s number six citizen marches the insight of Nigeria’s number one citizen, thereby, ensuring greatest good for the greatest number of Nigerians, particularly Abia State.

However, Rep Sam Onuigbo lauded the  Deputy Speaker for initiating the Renewed Hope Partners, whose sole mandate is to ensure the re-election of President Tinubu overwhelmingly, through citizen inclusion and participation.

 

“Today, as we inaugurate the Renewed Hope Partners, Abia Central chapter, I must say that we have taken a necessary step to reciprocate the good works of Mr President and our son, the Deputy Speaker. We shall after this brief ceremony, carry the message of the good deeds of our President and hope of greater things to come into the various nooks and corners of our zone.

“While we commend Mr Deputy Speaker for his patriotic zeal of mainstreaming APC’s inclusive agenda, we assure him and Mr President that the programmes and policies of the Tinubu administration would become household mantra among our people.

 

 

“This way, I am confident that both the Deputy Speaker, who birthed this platform and Mr President, who provided us with good product, will be happy that their noble gestures will not be in vain.We shall not fail, we shall not falter, but we must fly on the wings of the initiatives of President Tinubu and his dream of Renewed Hope for all Nigerians”, he said.

Speaking shortly after the inauguration, Pastor Pat Ikechi, the Abia Central Coordinator of Renewed Hope Partners, affirmed that it would no longer be business as usual. He pledged that the team would actively reach every nook and cranny of the zone to mobilize broad support for the task ahead, assuring that all necessary measures would be taken to ensure President Tinubu’s re-election.

Receiving the defectors from the various parties in Abia State into the APC, Rep Sam Onuigbo, the State Chairman of the APC in Abia, Dr Kingsley Ononogbu, who was represented by the Abia Central Zonal Chairman, Chief Lawrence Ukatta, the State Secretary, Chief Chidi Avoja and the Ikwuano APC chairman, Chief Chinedum Adindu, heartily welcomed the new entrants into their fold, urging them to shun anti party activities, as well as, work assiduously to ensure the party takes over Abia come 2027.

 

 

Reacting, Hon Enyinnaya Ezeri, Lady Chinyere Ehilegbu, and Hon Paul Nwachukwu, who spoke on behalf of other defectors, stated that their decisions to leave their former parties were inspired by the notable achievements of President Tinubu, particularly his assent to the establishment of the South East Development Commission.They pledged their full support to ensure the APC’s victory in Abia State come 2027.

 

 

The highlight of the event was the official presentation of the APC symbol to the new members.
