Ofuji’s Celebration Continues, As He Commemorates His 45th Birthday With Staff, Students of ABSUTH 

 

 

In a heartwarming display of philanthropy and communal spirit, the renowned businessman and philanthropist, Dr. Chima Desmond Anyasọ, graciously visited the Abia State University Teaching Hospital (ABSUTH) School of Nursing in Aba, to commemorate the occasion of his 45th birthday.

 

 

To mark the occasion, Dr. Anyasọ donated bags of rice, Cash and wrappers to the students of the institution. The visit, which was filled with warmth and appreciation, was aimed at giving back to a community that helped shape his formative years.

 

 

Dr. Anyasọ expressed deep gratitude for life and the opportunity to celebrate with the future caregivers of the nation.

 

“Thank you all for making time to be here today. This visit is not meant to be elaborate — I just wanted to come and mark my birthday with you all. God has given me the power, the resources, and the opportunity to give back, and I’m here today because of that,” he said.

 

 

“I was born and brought up in this town, Aba. I always make it a point to return home, especially on special days like this. If Aba can produce me, then Aba can produce many more great people including all of you here today.

 

Nurses are the heartbeat of healthcare. You care, you serve, and you save lives. Your reward may be in heaven, but you should also begin to enjoy the fruits of your labor here on Earth,” Dr. Anyasọ added.

 

 

He went on to encourage the students to remain focused and proud of their chosen profession, reminding them that there is dignity in labor and that their work matters deeply.

 

Earlier, the Head of Department (HOD), Mrs. Nwaeze Obinna Silverline, welcomed Dr. Anyasọ and expressed appreciation for his support. She also used the opportunity to highlight some of the challenges the school faces.

 

 

“We are grateful for this visit, and we pray that God continues to grant you good health and wisdom,” she said.
