Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso, popularly called Ofuji Global by numerous admirers, once again exemplifies why he is celebrated as he commemorates Senior Citizen Ejikeme Ikwunze, universally recognized as “Mr. Football,” with an unexpected belated birthday visit on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at his residence in Umuawa Alaocha, Ohuhu Umuahia, Abia State.
Ejikeme Ikwunze, Mr. Football, stands as a prominent figure within Nigeria’s sporting community. He is a distinguished sports columnist, contributing insightful articles to various international sports publications as well as Nigerian newspapers.
Mr. Football has also held the esteemed positions of Director of Sports for Abia State and President-General of the Ohuhu Welfare Union Worldwide. He recently celebrated his 70th birthday on May 13.
Ofuji and Mr. Football have maintained a close friendship online for many years, yet they had not previously engaged in a face-to-face interaction.
In an effort to bridge the physical distance between them, Chima chose to surprise him with a visit shortly after Mr. Football’s milestone birthday celebration.
Chima Anyaso offered fervent prayers to God, imploring Him to bestow His healing virtue upon Mr. Football and to utilize the visit as a catalyst for the swift grace of his recovery.
