According to him, the dedication of the Secretariat was a significant event, bearing in mind how the Local Government Area never had a party office even while the PDP was in power with Isuikwuato sons and daughters in key positions. “But today, as an opposition party, we are able to achieve this feat, without the backing of any government functionary, making this achievement very remarkable and worth celebrating”.

Okorie expressed profound gratitude to members of the party both at the state and local levels, who contributed to the actualization of the party’s secretariat, addressing a false narrative, wherein a certain individual regarded himself as, “The Cow, the Milk, POS and the ATM” of Isuikwuato PDP, yet contributed nothing to the secretariat project, neither did the said individual convened any meeting of party faithful.

He, however, affirmed that the party has made significant progress within a short period, while highlighting some challenges confronting it and raising confidence that with the crop of leaders the party now has, the challenges would be a thing of the past.
Okorie further disclosed that the secretariat is in need of chairs, tables, computers, generating set, fans, wireless speakers, bus and financial assistance for membership drive and assured that whatever is contributed for the furnishing of the Secretariat would be put into judicious use.

“Unlike the past, when some so called stakeholders, who have now left the party, only gather to share money contributed by others. Today’s PDP Isuikwuato LGA stakeholders give selflessly”, he remarked.
