Dr Oluebube Chukwu Felicitates Men Worldwide on the Occasion of Father’s Day

As the world marks the 2025 Father’s Day celebration, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Abia State on Due Process, Dr Oluebube Chukwu, has extended warm felicitations to men across the globe, recognizing their immeasurable contributions to families, communities and the society at large.

In a statement released on Sunday, Dr Chukwu emphasized the critical role fathers play in shaping the moral and emotional foundations of their homes. He described fathers as pillars of strength, guidance and protection who consistently make sacrifices for the wellbeing and future of their children and families.

“Fathers are the cornerstone of the family unit.Their influence is far reaching, not only in the immediate household but in the broader society. On this special occasion, we salute all fathers both biological and adoptive, guardians, and other father figures for their unwavering commitment, leadership, and dedication”.

Dr Chukwu further highlighted the importance of acknowledging the evolving role of fathers in today’s world, where men are becoming increasingly active in caregiving and emotional support, in addition to their traditional responsibilities.

He used the occasion to call on communities and institutions to support policies and initiatives that promote fatherhood, work-life balance, and stronger family values.

“As we celebrate Father’s Day, let us renew our commitment to building homes and a society where love, respect, and responsibility are upheld. I wish all fathers a joyful, fulfilling and blessed celebration”, he added.
