Two Years Anniversary: Amobi Ogah Reels Out Mega Empowerment For Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Promises To Do More
The Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Rt Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, has raised the bar of empowerment, reeling out mega empowerment with the distribution of different items such as cars, tractors, tricycles, sewing machines, freezers, motorcycles, trucks, among other items, to members of his constituency, as a way to catalyse their Socio-economic emancipation, while promising to do more to do more for them.
Speaking at the second edition of his empowerment programme which doubles as his two years anniversary of impactful representation held at Onuaku Primary School Field Uturu, Isuikwuato, Abia State, Ogah explained that the empowerment was borne out of the love shown to him by his constituents.

According to him, “The essence of this empowerment is to catalyse the economic and social emancipation of my constituents. The day I was declared the winner, I was marveled by the love my people showed me.
” I am planning that before next year, every ward in my constituency will have a tractor so that our people can go to the farm, he said.

Ogah extolled Governor Alex Otti for giving Abians dividends of democracy, describing him as a Governor who leads while others follow.
He expressed appreciation to the Governor for the love he has for him, as well as, the synergy that has been existing between them, adding that Governor Otti has shown good leadership by paying salary arrears owed Abia workers by the past administrations, as well as, taking good care of Abia traditional rulers, saying it is a confirmation of a people oriented-government.
He further described him as a listening Governor who made sure that security was restored in his constituency, assuring that Governor Otti would get 100 percent votes in the next general election.

He further described leadership position as a platform to serve the people and not for self aggrandizement, while charging elected officials in Abia to continue to support Governor Otti on the ongoing transformation in the State.
The Federal Lawmaker equally disclosed that in the area of legislation, he has tried his best, providing numerous projects to his constituents.

He urged recipients of the items to utilize them to improve their socio-economic status, and avoid selling them off.
In his speech, the Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof Kenneth Kalu, commended Amobi Ogah for representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi very well, and added that the empowerment program connotes the true meaning of leadership. “Representation should be all about this and not speaking all the grammar and noise making in the social media without impacting on the constituents”.
Governor Otti, encouraged the people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency to continue to support the good representation of Hon. Amobi.

Also, the Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, Rt.Hon.Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, who was represented by Rt.Hon. Mark Essien, described Amobi Ogah as the best performing member of the 10th national Assembly and a strong voice who has been part and parcel of what is happening in the National Assembly.
He urged the people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi to appreciate what Amobi Ogah has been doing since he was elected, adding that Ogah must go for second tenure because he has worked for it.
In his remarks, Rt.Hon. Ginger Onwusibe, explained that he was at the event to give solidarity to his friend and brother Amobi, to tap from his blessings and to inform Isuikwuato/Umunneochi constituents that Rt Hon Amobi Ogah deserves a second tenure.

Earlier in his homily, the Methodist Bishop of Isuikwuato Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr O.C. Chiemeka, commended Rt Hon Amobi Ogah for empowering his constituents, while urging the recipients to judiciously utilize the items as well as, continue to support Hon. Ogah.

” If one can take care of what belongs to another person, tomorrow the person will receive his own.
” What you are getting today is a trial, if you use it well, tomorrow God will give you more.
” This is a sign of God’s love for you and I thank Rt Hon Amobi Ogah for empowering his constituents and having empowered others, God will continue to empower Ogah”, he said.

He urged the people of the federal constituency to appreciate what the Legislator has been doing since elected and added that Ogah must go for second tenure because he has worked for it.
