Abia ADC To Discipline National Officers For Illegally Announcing Suspension Of State Chairman, Don Norman Obinna
The African Democratic Congress (ADC), in Abia State, is set to discipline two of its National Officers for illegally announcing the suspension of the State chairman, Don Norman Obinna.
The ADC National Welfare Secretary, Hon Nkem Ukandu and the Zonal Legal Adviser, Mr Kalu Kalu Agu, would be appearing before the Disciplinary Committees of their respective wards for publicly announcing the purported suspension of Don Norman Obinna as the Abia State Chairman of ADC during an event at Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe’s Nobik Event Center, Aba.
Reacting on the issue in separate letters, signed by the Disciplinary Committee Ward Chairmen of Uzuakoli and Ania Wards, Mr David Chinwe and Mr Kalu Ukoha Agwu respectively, invited the two national officers to face the disciplinary panels in their wards over the breach of the party’s constitution.
According to the letters, Hon Nkem Ukandu and Mr Kalu Kalu Agu, lacked the constitution powers to suspend the state chairman, describing their actions as illegal.
